Pregnancy yoga

18 October - 22 November, 2023 - A 6 week course to support you in your journey of pregnancy. Explore your changing body as your baby grows and deepen your connection with yourself and your baby. The practice assists you to strengthen and softening the body, bringing awareness to pelvic floor muscles and releasing pregnancy-related discomforts. In honouring all these changes within your body there is time to breathe and prepare yourself for birth and early motherhood. Suitable for all stages of pregnancy and limited to 8 mummies.

Mums and bubs
- Mondays at 11:00 AM
13 November - 4 December, 2023 - Mums and bubs yoga is for mums of babies from 6 weeks until crawling. This hour-long class provides time to connect with your baby, yourself, and other mums. Mums will work on strengthening their postpartum bodies as well as relieving tension and learning ways to involve babies in yoga poses.
Breathwork & mindfulness course

- Breathwork refers to different breathing techniques, programs, and exercises. These exercises focus on your conscious awareness of your inhales and exhales. These exercises use deep, focused breathing that lasts a specific amount of time. Breathwork helps put the brakes on an acute stress response and diverts the health problems associated with chronic stress. By eliciting the body's relaxation response, deep abdominal breathing helps reduce blood pressure. Here are a few types of breathing exercises that are used in various practices. - Box breathing - Diaphragmatic breathing - Pursed lip breathing - 4-7-8- breathing - Alternate nostril breaths. People practice breathwork for a variety of reasons. Overall, it’s thought to bring about improvements in an emotional state and decrease stress levels, process emotions, heal emotional pain and trauma, enrich creativity, release negative thoughts and much more. Students can participate in this course in-studio or online via Live Stream.
